About

ABOUT US

Indigo has a long-standing commitment in the communities where our employees and customers work and live. We are devoted to children’s literacy, and partner with high-needs schools and their communities across Canada to ensure their children have access to new and engaging books. Indigo also has programs that extend support beyond these high-needs schools. The Indigo FUNdraiser Program makes it easy for all not-for-profit, literacy, sports and educational groups to earn funds for the programs that matter to them.

Online FUNdraisers

Indigo Online FUNdraisers earn instant support for your school or community group through your online shopping campaign. Your school or group will receive 15% back in the form of a cheque or 20% back in Indigo gift cards for every $25, $50 or $100 Indigo eGift Card sold. Launch a fundraising campaign today!

In-store FUNdraisers

Indigo also offers In-store FUNdraisers for schools or community groups that want to be connected to their local Indigo or Chapters store. When your organization hosts an in-store event, Indigo donates a percentage of all eligible purchases made by your invited guests: either 15% in the form of a cheque or 20% in Indigo gift cards. For more information, call your local Indigo, Chapters or Coles store and speak with a FUNdraiser champion today!

OUR SPECIAL FOCUS: CHILDREN'S LITERACY

Love of Reading

As booklovers, we at Indigo are passionate about children's literacy. Early literacy fosters a lifelong love of reading, boosts confidence and self-esteem, and is a foundation for future academic and professional success. Learn more about what we are doing to help high-needs schools and their communities ensure that their children have access to new and engaging books.

The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation helps schools in challenged communities combat the devastating effects of provincial cutbacks and reduced budgets. Every year, Love of Reading commits $1.5 million through its Literacy Fund to transform 20 high-needs Canadian elementary schools and their students’ lives. Since 2004, it has committed $13.5 million to 150 schools and impacted the lives of 42,000 children across Canada. Learn more or apply for a Literacy Fund grant.

For three weeks every fall, Adopt a School unites Indigo employees, customers, schools and their communities in raising money to rejuvenate high-needs elementary-school libraries across Canada. Want to help put one book in the hands of every child at a local school? Learn how your school can be adopted or how you can support a school in your community.
